Vision Pathways Augusta is a year-long experience for new college graduates as they transition from their academic world into the rest of their lives. There are three main endeavors in Vision Pathways: GROW, CONNECT and SERVE. We believe these endeavors should be true for every Christian, no matter his context, but really grasping them in this important transition is crucial for the spiritual health and longevity of our grads.GROW: We want to embrace our union with Christ and experience the implications thereof. (2 Peter 3:18; Romans 12:1-3; Colossians 3:1-4)CONNECT: We strive to love and labor together as a gospel-centered family. (Acts 2; Romans 12)SERVE: We aim to intentionally and faithfully labor as a lifestyle. (Colossians 3:17, 4:2-6; Galatians 6:9-10)There are many avenues and structures in place within VP and our church that aid in this growth process. Our ultimate desire is to see this next generation of kingdom leaders launched from the college campus into places where they can redemptively live, work and play for the well-being of the city (Jeremiah 29:4-7) and to the glory of God.

The mission of Campus Outreach is "Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World."​ This involves helping college students to investigate what they believe, help them understand the claims of Christ, and trust God to transform their lives. In the process, we develop godly leaders who can pass on what they have learned to the next generation. That is where my job comes in. I work with the upperclassmen & graduates by "Launching Every Student Leader into the Local Church to Labor for a Lifetime." We want every CO graduate to deeply know what they believe & why and to go out into every sector of society making a difference for the sake of Christ. I engage with our seniors in an assessment process of their desires/passions, God-given design and gifts, their developmental experiences and needs, & then help them find a healthy landing zone in the 1-2 year window right after college. I specialize in networking with local churches, ministries, and civic / company leaders for the purpose of deploying trained graduates into strategic cities & locations both Stateside and overseas. The goal of this networking is to provide intentional growth opportunities for CO grads to impact their community with their gifts, abilities, leadership, & skills.Other responsibilities include:- Training regional staff to execute campus ministry in light of mobilization emphasis- Developing & executing multi-year action plan- Gaining access, meeting with & forging win-win partnerships & agreements with national level leaders (in universities, missions agencies, & in churches)- Building partnership models between teams of graduates & churches, missions agencies, etc.- Speaking & casting vision effectively in small & large group settings- Developing / executing local & regional marketing strategies- Working well with leaders from various theological, denominational & ministry backgrounds- Working on multiple projects & cultivate multiple relationships at the same time

I, along with my staff team, built up and facilitated a campus-wide student ministry. This involved constant coaching and leadership development for our staff and student leaders. I was able to implement a ministry strategy built upon our broader Campus Outreach ministry philosophy. We set and attained goals related to developing ethnic diversity in our ministry, targeting and influencing every mainstream affinity group on campus (the Greek system, every dormitory, intramural and recreational leagues, etc), and raising up a multiplying movement among students that renews and propagates itself.

I participated on the staff team that engaged college students over the topic of spirituality and built up spiritual leaders. I was able to have a personal ministry in multiple places on the GSU campus. The men I invested time, energy, and mentorship in were able to reproduce the process I started with them and we saw many generations of guys come to know God personally and become leaders themselves. I led both in small group and large group settings ranging from one-on-ones to weekly meetings of 150 people in attendance. I also assisted in executing retreats for our region.
