Built the Solstice Festival Technology which grew to serve 10,000+ concerts in over 60 cities around the USA all on one day. In our home city, Austin, we used our software to start Solstice Festival attend by 5,000 people over 3 days. We successfully grew Solstice Festival over 4 years and indefinitely paused the festival to focus on Prism. The Solstice Festival Technology was sold to the Make Music Alliance. We also launched Solstice Live - an AirBNB for matching musicians and artists. Solstice Live was the predecessor to Prism and successfully booked thousands of concerts at local venues around Austin.

Helped Techstars start their first office in Austin, Texas. Also helped with business development and marketing--for both TechStars & the 10 participating startups. For TechStars, business development meant spreading the word about the program, finding teams, mentors, investors, and talent. And for the 10 participating startups, business development was everything from marketing and PR strategy to sales.
WomStreet.com (now spotlight.fm) was the business I started before Solstice. I came up with the initial idea and teamed up with two talented co-founders to run the business and tech. We launched the platform and grew a user base of over 250,000 people with only 35,000 in seed funding.Outside of all the initial creative work, I also jump started our business development and marketing efforts which consisted of everything in-between cold call sales (in person, phone and email) to relationship/mentor based sales. I created partnerships with a number of the largest players in the entertainment industry such as companies like: Ableton, Creative Artist Agency, Red Lights Management group, Pretty Lights Music, and many more.I was also in charge of finding investors. I did this through networking with mentors and successful entrepreneurs. The majority of my shares were purchased.
Remodelinform.com is an online application where homeowners - interested in remodeling their home - can easily find local home contractors by simply typing in their zip, and needs (ie: Shingling, Roof Remodeling, Kitchen).I came up with the original idea, designed a prototype, hired out contracting work to build the final product, and did advertising sales to kickstart their operation. The website is still running and driving revenue.
