I managed up to 300 engineers in 5 countries building software that supports over 26 million users. We made a very large monolithic java application more modular, flexible and customer friendly, increasing the pace of feature delivery (over 50 releases per year). All have been on time and never late – all with significant improvements in product quality. This contributed to a 20% increase in customer satisfaction in a single year and increasing annual customer retention for customers from 80% to 96%. • Acquired and integrated 4-5 companies a year.• I led engineering during the peak growth period for the business which grew annual revenue from $200M to $650M and enabled a successful sale to private equity.

MSB was a leading provider of property and casualty insurance software and real estate assessment data services to the insurance industry, state and local government assessors, and the real estate industry – owned by MDA of Canada. I managed international distributed teams of 150 software engineers and was also responsible for professional consulting and internal business systems.
