CurrentArtistic/Education- Compose all orchestral arrangements and the HSO theme music, advancing the organizational brand.- Design and host the Beyond the Music series and pre-concert conversations.- Produce the Symphony of the Hawaiʻi Forests.- Program the HapaSymphony series.- Conduct the orchestra in special performances.- Artistically plan the 23/24 series: Lexus Hawaiʻi Films in Concert, Halekulani Masterworks, and the Pacific Fanfare Commissions project, Summer 2024 Season.- Serve on the Program Committee.- Assemble artistic program with partner organizations for the televised Maui Ola Benefit Concert.Operations:- Supervisor for operations, including the personnel manager, operations and stage manager, and the operations administrator.- Oversee booking and contracting for specials and films in concert.- Participate and assist in Board of Director Meetings and Executive Committe.- Supervise the Nā Hoku ʻOpio Young Stars Competition.- Secure music licensing for television/streaming broadcasts.Marketing- Manage Social Media Accounts.- Graphic designer for all digital content, including social media reels and posts.- Publicly represent and promote the organization/artistic vision through concert announcements, film & television, radio, and print. - Generate copy; collaborate in designing, editing, proofing, and producing marketing and sponsor materials; and produce all concert program notes.- Produce televised/global streaming broadcast of HapaSymphony with Raiatea Helm.Fundraising- Support the President & CEO and Development Director in cultivating and soliciting major gifts and grants from government institutions, foundations, corporations, and individuals.- Design the 2023 Gala fundraiser orchestra program.- Keynote speaker for the 2022 Gala Fundraiser.
