•Counsel students in their college application process•Assist parents and students with the financial aid process•Coordinate the Summer of a Lifetime Program for 140 sophomores •Support undocumented students in their college application process•Co-Advisor to a group of young men•Responsible for ensuring that the social emotional needs of my caseload’s (advisory) needs are met•In constant communication with parents regarding college counseling, advisory and Summer of a Lifetime•Meet with parents regarding their scholar’s behavioral and academic struggles•Implement interventions for student struggling academically•Coordinate the Midwest College Visits (annual trip) for the 9th and 10th grade classes•Schedule college visits with college representatives for the 11th and 12th grade classes•Use Naviance to forward documents to colleges and universities•Generate transcripts and ACT scores for Seniors applying to post-secondary institutions•Translate for Spanish-speaking parents and students during meetings, events, and presentations•Constant communication with personnel in the Noble Network Administration Offices to ensure that DREAMers, seniors and Summer of a Lifetime participants experience a smooth transition into their prospective post-institution and summer program
