Funded under National Science Foundation LEAP-HI Grant program, to improve sensing, data analysis, modeling, and predictive analytics pertaining to drinking water quality in distribution systems. Utilized EPANET MSX to examine the role of chemical and hydraulic uncertainty and related impacts to monochloramine decay, and developed open-source python code to conduct similar analyses on other chemical reactions and distribution systems. Created novel physics informed neural network framework to improve kinetic models of chemical processes by incorporating existing chemical model and experimental data.

Austin, Tx

During the Texas legislative session, tracked and monitored the progress of bills which have impacts to Austin Water. Analyzed impact of proposed environmental justice regulations on Austin Water activities. Between June-November 2021, coordinated utility-wide after action review of utility operations and corrective action plan related to the February 2021 winter storm. Managed analysis of utility operations across emergency management, communications, and technical operations, to ensure cohesion and accuracy. Provided weekly status reports to the Director of Austin Water. Participated in ongoing meeting series between Austin Water personnel and the council appointed Austin Water and Wastewater commission.

Cleveland, Oh

Worked to enhance the health of Lake Erie and mitigate flooding issues through the use of hydrologic/hydarulic modeling. Project experience includes the Cuyahoga River South Stormwater Master Plan, and the Heights-Hilltop Local Sewer System Evaluation Study. Creating SWMM models, and utilized Matlab programming to significantly increase workflow efficiency.
