I am a bridge builder, crossing the chasm between producers and consumers, leaders and teams. This bridge building theme has played out in three major phases -- journalism, business leadership, and human transformation. As a trained journalist I learned how to learn -- quickly. I made it my business to help people become smarter technology consumers, and to help technology producers understand what consumers really needed.I then deployed my bridge-building skills to other sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing, retail etc. In most cases I worked with existing organisations that were interested in exploiting technical innovations to drive internal efficiencies and capture new consumer opportunities-- what we now call digital transformation.It became clear to me in that second phase that often the weak link was the organisation itself. If true digital transformation was to be achieved, human transformation must be understood and embraced.I bring extensive leadership experience to my work, having led large organisations through digital transformations in the US, UK and EU.
