Ming Gao is currently an ASIC/SoC DV manager at Apple. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, M.S. in Systems Engineering, and B.S. in Information Engineering. He has years of diverse experience and broad interests in design, model, automation, and optimization of computing systems since 2003, including computer vision for autonomous robots, pattern matching and classification engine for high speed network intrusion detection, SoC online testing and validation, ASIC design for logic emulation computer, and design verification for hardware security. He is a senior member of IEEE and an SRC/GSRC alumnus. He served on the program committee and as a reviewer for the major EDA conferences and journals.
