As a Manufacturing Engineer I worked at Genie. I was part of a team that supported the production line of the rough-terrain scissor lifts. In supporting the line I solved mechanical issues as they arose. Solving these issues included root cause analysis. In times that I was not troubleshooting I would work on production line improvement projects. Some of these projects included an Automated Vehicle Guided material hauler, safety devices, and material carts.

While the Foreman I lead and assisted 3-4 other carpenters to build theatrical sets to the given specifications. There were 2-3 sets every 14 weeks that were constructed and deconstructed. I also assisted in the instruction of 4-5 students, each day, in construction and safety procedures for each set.

After getting tasks I was able to assist the other carpenters or do individual projects with little to no supervision. I assisted in the problem solving of the various construction projects. I also assisted in the labor of packing many tools and materials for the projects we needed.

While a crew trainer I assisted and oversaw the training of new crew members in the proper procedures in various positions. While there I also interacted with individuals from diverse backgrounds in filling, making, and taking order to satisfaction of the customers.
