Another fantastic role at Carlsberg, this time helping Group Supply Chain understand and manage the IT and Infosec risks in their Production IT environments including Industrial Control Systems/SCADA/PLC. The work will also inform and develop the IT Governance and standardisation strategy. I designed and ran a pilot and feasibility exercise in the UK which has developed into a 17 country 30 brewery program across Europe over the next 10 months. I have created bespoke policy and guidance for Production IT environments against which I will be running infosec assessments and managing the remediation work. Reporting directly to the Logistics VP the role involves project management, governance, policy, infosec assessment design and delivery.

InfoSec improvement program manager and expert resource on an InfoSec policy and compliance rollout to fifteen countries in Europe. Responsibility to ensure CIO's, CFO's, HR Directors and IT/technical staff are aware and involved in the program and complete the remediation work identified. The approach involves travel for face to face meetings with local country representatives, audit/assessment against Carlsberg information security policies. I then design remediation plans and manage their delivery, and consult on technical solutions where necessary. I am also running the EuroSOX IT General Controls compliance program for 2009/2010. Ongoing work includes InfoSec policy development and review; ISMS design and development and preparation for further InfoSec governance, policy and framework rollouts across the group. For 2010 I am designing and running a Production IT/ Supply chain infosec improvement program focussing on SCADA/PLC systems across the Carlsberg group.

This has involved operational security management and development/ implementation of a strategic security program. Initial challenges were resourcing the security program and operational team. Main projects have been PCI-DSS compliance and Internal audit compliance. I am currently implementing Cisco Clean Access NAC across the entire William Hill estate.
