Advanced Neuroimaging Volunteer and Internship position in Susan Rivera's Neurocognitive Development Lab at the Center for Mind and Brain, Davis, CA. Investigated volumetic differences in Limbic System structures of adult, adolescent and children with Fragile X Syndrome vs controls. I specialized in voxel-by-voxel Hippocampus volume measurement. Measured L/R Hippocampus in over 40 structural MRI brain scans.Later, I began to help convert raw MRI data files to NIFTI format, and revised laboratory protocol for future interns.
