My core business is designing and auditing maintenance programs for surface mining fleets - trucks, shovels, drills and support equipment. I've been in the business since 1982 and have worked for major Caterpillar and Komatsu dealers, augmenting that operating experience with 5 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers' asset management group before starting my own company in 2003. While still supporting client site engagements, the focus now is knowledge transfer. I have a strategic partnership with Infomine, a leading mining portal. Infomine hosts online courses including Maintenance 101 and Mining Equipment Life Cycle Costing.Other content includes a hard copy manual, Maintenance 101: Mobile Mining Equipment and proprietary data models for large and ultra class mining vehicles, often delivered in online applications that estimate maintenance costs and metrics for common models of surface equipment.
