Excited to join Medstuff as the Chief Operating Officer, where I’ll be leveraging my experience and success with Home Care RN to drive growth, process improvement, and quality enhancements. Brought on to consult and lead initiatives that will expand this family-run Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) business, I’m focused on optimizing operations, refining service delivery, and ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

- Organized and Directs all business operations- Completes company status reports and presents to the company ownership short and long term goals - Annually evaluates all staff members working for the company -Ensure the Agency’s health services are in compliance with all applicable regulations, Accrediting Organization standards and federal, state, and local laws.-Ensures the completion, maintenance, and submission of such reports and records as required by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.-Ensures the maintenance of appropriate personnel, financial and administrative records and all policies and procedures of the agency.-Ensures all marketing, advertising and promotional information and activities accurately represents the Agency and addresses the care, treatment and services that the Agency can provide directly or through contractual arrangement.-Plans, organizes and directs the Agency’s ongoing functions by delegating duties and establishing a formal means of staff accountability.-Directs and coordinates the overall development and administration of the Agency consistent with the Agency mission and available resources, and with the involvement of the Agency staff and participation of the Professional Advisory Committee.-Directs daily business activities of the Agency and assures development of systems that support recruitment, hiring and the ongoing professional development of Agency staff.-Participates in the hiring and orientation of staff, and development of continuing education (staff development) in applicable policies, rules, regulations and resource materials.-Serves on the Professional Advisory Committee and Quality Management Committee.Implements an effective budgeting and accounting system; assures accuracy for billing procedures.-Ensure Agency personnel have current clinical information and current practices.-Completes initial and annual administrator training, as applicable, per the requirements of 6 CCR 1011-1

-Help build lasting relationships with individuals in need of client centered home care as well as their providers.-Organize and construct all marketing and advertising as well as community outreach for the company.

-Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes-Month-end closing of the billing group information-Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes-Special program/billing planning and implementation-Personnel development; staff meetings-Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; Team building-Field Operators’ problem escalation and customer service-Assist with the implementation of a new billing system

The most rewarding experience in my life. The growth that occurred both professionally and personally cannot be given justice through a brief amount of text. This program develops young adults pursuing careers in medicine to be not just good, but beyond the expectations of great.

Collected and processed NMR and IR data of patients that had undergone liver and kidney transplants in order to help decrease the amount of unsuccessful surgeries.

Learned how to interact with other people professionally. Also, learned how to be patient in many situations. When working in a restaurant situations can become very stressful and the ability to keep a calm attitude is important.
