Led waterfall and agile web projects for Walmart.com, Gap, AutoNation, and Cisco Networking Academy. Responsible for project budgets of $1M+ and teams of 40+ members. Led the redesign of Sapient "One Team" core development methodology to integrate software engineering and creative services into a single, coherent, sellable, and repeatable approach. Served as Program Management lead for the 500-person San Francisco office.

Managed the development of strategic business proposals and large-scale pitches for a well-regarded early web agency. Responsible for qualification, estimation, pitch strategy, and management of a three-person proposals team. Managed brand and web development projects.

Wrote successful grants for pioneering online education projects in the earliest days of the WWW. Project technologies included SGML, VRML, Unicode and MOOs. Successes included a $200K+ grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for the Ed Ayers project "The Valley of the Shadow." Total amount raised in one year: $665K.
