About Mike Gionfriddo
I am an accomplished technology leader who envisions and crystallizes innovation through world-class execution. A lifelong technologist, I started programming in high school and my passion for technology has never diminished. Since graduating Carnegie Mellon, I have honed my leadership skills managing teams of over 200 and earned the prestigious Distinguished Engineer title from Sun Microsystems. I have built and led talented teams to deliver software platforms from inception through commercialization across a spectrum of markets with varied business models. My career has enabled me to build processor agnostic compilers, engineer distributed database systems, pioneer the use of Java for system and network management, create a large-scale network for delivery of software services, and bring payment systems into the public cloud. Currently, as Co-founder and CTO at Tallied, I lead the product and technology teams in building an end-to-end operating system for credit card programs.
