Maggie Giordanengo is a Strategy Director at Honey at Honey. Colleagues describe them as "I am writing in support of Maggie Hamilton, who I have had the pleasure of knowing since 2012. Maggie served as a research assistant on my team at the University of California—Santa Barbara, so I have seen firsthand her responsibility and work ethic. I have taught hundreds of students at UCSB, but she truly stands out among them. As a research assistant, Maggie has been an invaluable member of my team since the project began. At its inception, she served as a sounding board for ideas, and in its preliminary stages, she offered insightful feedback that I can honestly say greatly improved the entire study. As the project has progressed, I saw that her enthusiasm manifested itself in ownership of the project—which, as the lead investigator, made me more comfortable knowing I had the support of my team. Maggie’s dedication and ambition were evident in everything she did, from small tasks to leadership roles within the team. Her ability to work autonomously, manage difficult situations, and produce quality work has prevented a great deal of stress in my life, and has earned my complete trust. Maggie is one of the most motivated, driven, and kind individuals I have known. Perhaps her most endearing qualities, however, are her perpetual cheerfulness and unwavering loyalty. Maggie is involved in so many projects, yet she is always smiling and enthusiastically volunteers for more. Further, she motivates others to reach their own potential; perhaps the only thing stronger than her drive to succeed is her willingness to help others do the same. In my lab, she always brightened my day with her easy humor, but reports from others simply serve to confirm the enormous positive impact she has on those around her as a student, friend, and peer. I am confident that Maggie will serve as a fantastic asset to your organization as a result of her dedication combined with her willingness to work hard to help achieve a goal. While I will be sad to no longer see her in the halls of UCSB, I know she will go on to do wonderful things."
