Hired on as a sales guy with no product to sell, my work within the LG US B2B Robotics group was more entrepreneurial than one might suspect. We first had to build our pipeline by establishing partnerships, leveraging LG's already extensive third party relationship network, and are now in the process of filling that pipeline. We have established strong connections between our distributor, system integrator and reseller partners and all our internal stakeholders (service, financing, production) to ensure strong responsiveness to market demands.In addition to that core role, I have helped significantly with our regulatory adherence, public relations, product development and testing, training, and technical road map. I also continue developing my broad business skillsets in the pursuit of non-sales partners for things like point of sale systems, content generation, and hardware accessories to better meet our customers' requirements.• Led a cross-functional team tasked with bringing LG’s CLOi line of robots to the US market. Highly collaborative with the US-based legal, regulatory, PR, HR, and marketing teams as well as our development team based in South Korea.• Established demand chain by identification, engagement and on-boarding of numerous distributor, system integrator and reselling partners. Managed relationships and stewarded partners through the legal, financial and logistical integration challenges.• Sought out new customers and end users and supported demand chain by offering “proof of concept” and demonstration deployments of our product portfolio. Established baseline expectations, identified key performance indicators for each engagement and gathered ‘voice of the customer’ to feed our development pipeline. Sold LG’s first CLOi robot (a ServeBot) into the US market.• Worked directly with UL Solutions, alongside the LG regulatory team, to ensure our products became the first robots in the world certified under the UL 3300 standard.

True Autonomy is a provider of autonomous navigation systems for use in indoor construction equipment. Beginning in the concrete polishing space, it has expanded into the sanitation / janitorial space. Michael has overseen all research and development (from concept to prototype to product), marketing, operations (including vendor selection and management) and finance.• Analyzed market to identify concrete polishing as emerging sector with great promise (~$200M initial opportunity with ideal use case for Autonomous Mobile Robotics). • Led a robotics engineering team from the creation of a patented autonomous navigation system through prototype to launch. Used ROS platform on Ubuntu and developed a locally served, very intuitive user interface.• Established global supply chain and renegotiated vendor contracts, cutting material costs by 80 percent which improved profitability by 200%. • Nurtured diverse relationships with manufacturers and resellers through personal contacts and trade shows. Initiated joint product offering with manufacturers at 2020 World of Concrete trade show. • Engaged several third-party service providers and managed those relationships (lawyers – patent, contract, employment, regulatory (ITER compliance); HR firms; accounting; public relations / media)• Established a nation-wide customer base with 10s of units sold.

Assessed the current medical information business processes and organizational structures across Boehringer Ingelheim globally.Analyzed organizational processes within Finance supporting the Gross to Net forecasting teams. Wrote a "Gross to Net Bible" to describe the 13 discount types products may receive before reaching the hands of the customer.Implemented a single sign on solution and rolled it out to ~8,000 field force personnel over dozens of countries.Supported the IT activities associated with the $2B sale of BI's generics business in Columbus, OH to Hikma. Categorized and dispositioned nearly 200 IT systems associated with the separation. Functionally developed a web portal for the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Integrated Data Environment project. Analyzed DLA’s supply chain to derive areas of improvement and to remove bias and inefficiencies.

Obtained Secret security clearance to develop an existing MATLAB code base designed to assist the United States Navy in mine detection. Authored various simulations to further intuition on the nature of mine avoidance and detection.

Obtained security access (FOUO status) to refine documentation on the booster section of a missile developed for the U.S. military’s Limited Defense Capability program. Created a power and grounding schematic for the OBV-3’s internal electrical system. Modeled pre-launch ordnance events in PSpice. Defined specifications for automated test equipment. Verified schematics detailing all OBV subsystems.

Tested Hewlett-Packard and third-party software on Hewlett-Packard mobile platforms. Rewrote and reformulated existing test plans.
