Since 2016, I've supported large consumer food manufacturers with financial support. From October 2016 to December of 2019, I supported Pinnacle Foods (acquired by ConAgra brands in 2018) as a Financial Analyst at a mid-size fruit canning plant on the shores of Lake Michigan.In 2019, I left ConAgra to take on a larger role with Kraft Heinz supporting a much larger, multi-faceted factory as a Senior Financial Analyst. The complex nature of this plant provided new opportunities to solve more complicated issues and be more involved in the leadership in the plant.I have a passion for the food industry and enjoy knowing the food coming out of my plant can be found in refrigerators and on restaurant tables around the world. I constantly challenge the status quo and hate the phrase "well, that's just how...". I'm willing to roll up my sleeves and dive into issues on the plant floor to oversee fixed asset audits, cycle count processes, and internal audit compliance. At the end of the day, my expertise is in converting mass data to user-friendly graphs and charts that allow my peers to understand pertinent financial data in a clear and articulate manner. The hope is to allow them more time to solve problems and less time sitting in pointless meetings. I despise silos, unnecessary conference calls/meetings, and people who don't respect each other's time and working hours. I'm the epitome of "work smarter, not harder", and succeed in automating tasks and reports to free up time for more critical analysis. I don't beat around the bush, and I don't like to have my time wasted. I start and end my work day the same time every day, and I generally don't find myself frantically working to catch-up on projects in the 11th hour. In my free time I enjoy traveling, geocaching, kayaking, Jeeping, and drumming. I never miss an opportunity for a dad joke, and I'm always down for a cold beer. I'm a sports guy, so no matter what time of year it is, I've always got a rooting interest.
