Handled database technology upgrades as required by application groups.- Delivered primary support for over 100 servers located globally running SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 and 2012 - Provided support on SQL Server Reporting Services, SSIS packages, high availability concepts (database mirroring, log shipping, AlwaysOn, clustering) and Transparent Data Encryption- Acted as key member in SQL Server 2012 certification for use within the company – This involved giving training on new concepts (Timeline restore feature, Distributed Replay), developing and performing QA on documentation, and culminated in performing the first successful production installations- Training/support for new DBAs – Guided them on company processes and assisted with technical SQL questions to help them work effectively in the team in a timely manner- Regular on-call support for all SQL servers in the company (1400+) to ensure all critical services were always available and recovered in a timely manner when needed

Provided 24/7 on-call support.- Responsible for administration and support of lab servers running SQL Server 2005 – Performed regular DBA duties such as backups, restores, security, etc.- Provided primary development and support for an in-house SSIS application – Successfully upgraded this tool from a SQL 2000 DTS package to a SQL 2005 SSIS package and took the opportunity to improve its efficiency- Acted as primary support for SQL 2005 based vendor application called eWorkforce Management which included performing a major application upgrade – Involved coordinating among various IT groups (network operations, server operations, network security, database operations) and key stakeholders- Supported call flow applications (Contact Center, Call Pilot, MPS 500) which involved writing scripts to allow customers to direct their calls as appropriate
