In April 2012, Group Commerce acquired Dealised to kick-start their international growth strategy.At Dealised, led technology / development (incl, technology P&L responsibility) for SaaS, white-label, ecommerce platform serving clients running $10M+ businesses across the globe. Managed overseas team of 20+ across engineering, product & QA as well as local application engineering & product teams. Responsible for development & execution of company technology strategy. Heavily involved in enterprise sales-cycle, client-services & marketing.At Group Commerce, initially responsible for UK technology strategy & execution, building & leading a local engineering team and contributing to PHP (Symfony) and Javascript (Backbone) development. Managed design & build of client programs, coordinating UK & US product and engineering resources, with a consistent track record of delivering successful projects for $MM e-commerce businesses. Heavily involved in UK corporate strategy including market analysis, financial modelling, resource planning and enterprise sales-cycle.As VP of Product, responsible for global product strategy & process, managing a small team (Product Management, Design and UX) in London and NY delivering a SaaS e-commerce platform for the world's premier publishers. Spreets were the first group buying site to launch in Australia in Feb 2010 and in February 2011 were acquired by Yahoo!Responsible for building and leading an in-house engineering team to "in-source" a legacy e-commerce platform and associated back-office systems. Led platform and frontend teams (10 engineers) building B2C e-commerce software across web, mobile and native applications delivering $60M+ in annualised revenue. Led technical & product strategy for key initiatives incl. major commercial white-label partnerships.Mainly writing PHP (Zend Framework), client-side Javascript and a little Python as well as Iaas and Paas providers.

GroupByWhat is a group buying analytics platform, delivering critical market data in Australia, UK, Indonesia, Norway, Netherlands & Denmark.As co-founder, architected & designed the initial product, built web & indexing applications providing near-realtime access to complex time-series data in multiple forms (in my spare time).In July 2011 after 7 months of development, my co-founder and I decided to focus more on other opportunities - GroupByWhat was wholly acquired by Dealised to add to their group buying platform.
