I have over 24-year experience in Machine Learning and Image Processing with applications to many applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) areas, e.g. Computer Vision, Autonomous navigation, Object Recognition, Medical Image Analysis, NLP, OCR and document analysis, High-Dimensional Data Analysis, Social Network Analysis, Bioinformatics, and Information Security. I have led several funded Research projects and supervised about 27 MSc and PhD theses in such research areas. Also, I taught more than 25 courses for graduate and undergraduate students in USA, Egypt, and KSA. I published more than 65 scientific journals and conferences articles, served as reviewer for renowned journals. I have served as Department Chair, Vice-Dean, and directed several university-level units and committees.
