Education & Career Services Program Manager

Supervise a team of 12 customer-facing professionals who provide training and transition services in areas such as skills evaluation, education, and employment preparation, resume development, personal branding, and financial management. Plans, implements, directs, reviews, evaluates, and manages complex Financial Literacy and Education Curriculums, Transition Programs, and Special Projects for military personnel in various phases of the military lifecycle. Strong ability to assess and understand on the needs of service members and implement programs per established program objectives, polices, organizational priorities, goals, and deadlines.• Developed and spearheaded the Spouse Education, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Symposium (SEEES) and was awarded the Yushu Performance Award• Directed the Education & Career services team during the 2021 Headquarters' Marine Corps Program assessment, earning full accreditation • Led implementation of the USMC Financial Education TouchPoints curriculum, consisting of 82 courses aligned with the military lifecycle• Increased overall program utilization by 40% despite national pandemic challenges by implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness of courses and by redesigning course delivery to ensure classes were more accessible on various platforms• Forged relationships with community partners who provide financial assistance to servicemembers, establishing a council to address the population's unique needs and coordinated community response to address the financial literacy needs
