About Michael Goldwasser

I am an insurance lawyer based in New York City. My practice is devoted to representing insurance companies in claim disputes and coverage litigation around the United States and abroad (United Kingdom, Bermuda). I am one of a relatively small number of practitioners who specializes in public and private company management liability, and am regularly involved in the financing and resolution of securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, M&A litigation, SEC investigations, and enforcement proceedings. I also advise insurance companies on underwriting and transactional risk.Prior to my legal career, I worked in banking and financial technology at Morgan Stanley and Bloomberg.
