Conceived of and wrote chapters of a workbook for the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Prior to taking on this project, It was my opinion that many courses and seminars were far too advanced for people unfamiliar with procurement. Our approach is to familiarize our students with every part of the FAR with accessible and straightforward exercises. It's also our goal to encourage students to think critically about the FAR's provisions. Doing so gives our students a solid conceptual framework to tackle procurement issues and helps them understand the ethical obligations that underwrite the federal procurement system.

Happy brought me first as a prep cook to improve my knife skills and learn to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. I chopped large quantities of vegetables for service, ground meat, prepared sheet pans of meatballs and croquettes, chicken Milanese, and maintained a clean and organized work space; I moved from prep to guard manger (cold appetizers) after two months; at cold tapas I prepared specialty salads, meat and cheese trays, and desserts, in addition to assisting the head chef with hors d’oeuvres on busy nights.
