I was born and raised in Kansas, went to college in Kansas, and started my career in Kansas. Since then, I have worked all over the world, including the UK, France, and United Arab Emirates. My roots in Kansas have brought me back and I'm happy to be raising a family and building a business in Manhattan.In 2017, I launched The Alms Group (TAG) with Cameron Ward. TAG is a real estate brokerage that aims to disrupt the real estate sales industry by focusing on People and Philanthropy. For Agents, we offer unrivaled support (e.g., rookie training, skills mastery, marketing, logistics, and transaction administration) for a fair commission split (80% to the Agent). For Brokers, we offer the freedom to stay client-focused by managing all back office operations (e.g., financial management, human resources, information technology, and marketing). For Philanthropy, which we call ALMS, we give away brokerage profits to local schools in the form of Grants, Awards, Projects, and Events. To date, we've given more than $120,000.In 2020, I launched Cura Insurance with Ashley Urban. Cura is an insurance brokerage built to serve our community, by also focusing on People and Philanthropy. We strive to do this in a complex industry by providing great customer service and finding value for our clients. As we continue to grow Cura, we feel it's important to create fair opportunities for our Producers, giving them the opportunity of ownership. Whether that's as a partner, or as the owner of their own agency, it's important to us that Producers own what they have worked so hard to create. For Philanthropy, called SPONSORSHIP at Cura, we focus on community engagement and bringing attention to causes we’re passionate about (e.g., youth sports).In the coming years, I’ll work with my partners to expand TAG and Cura into new markets. We'll also branch out into new industries where our focus on People and Philanthropy can make a difference.
