I lead the next gen caching team and scheduler service team.In caching, our work involves making the cache work for our at salesforce scale for different requirements while meeting uptime, consistency and HA SLAs. This includes both in-memory and semi-persistent caching, running in cluster mode, ensuring security requirements are met.Our scheduling is a mission critical service with # of jobs per day to be run at salesforce scale . Some of the challenges include maintaining of uptime, load balancing, ensuring SLAs such as unique run guaranteers and minimal delays, and also provide deep insights into the metrics of the scheduled jobsAs service owners, we are responsible for monitoring and maintaining our service. We use a lot of open source and also contribute back to the community

Live Mesh, which is a part of the software+services vision of microsoft, was driven by Microsoft CSA Ray Ozzie.Joined live mesh mobile team when it was setup in IDC.Was responsible for bringing up the first version of live mesh mobile for windows mobiles. As part of a very small, agile and aggressive team, I was involved in the architecture and development of Mobile Live Operating Environment (Mobile LOE) from scratch. The archtecture involved talking to various live mesh web services and a middle tier (Cloud LOE)As part of the LiveFx Analytics team, I was involved in development of various components of the analytics platform and looked into various aspects of analytics (scalability, performance, log processing etc).

Lead the software group which developed the software for all the Ethernet related products of Tejas Networks. I lead the software development of the ethernet products such as ETC, TP01, TR01, ELAN01 cards of Tejas.
