• Examine biochemical phenomena to test various hypotheses about the enzyme OGT for implications in healthcare and medicine• Synthesize and present data at weekly meetings, collaborating with, and leading a group of 5 students

• Selected as one of five students to participate in the Center for Engineering MechanoBiology REU• Worked independently to develop and test methods to diagnose heart disease in mice models within the Wagenseil lab• Enhanced presentation skills, scientific writing, and long-term project planning• Presented project to WashU Engineering faculty resulting in an honorable mention award (top 5 out of 50 projects) and presented at the National Biomedical Engineering Society annual meeting

• Completed projects using organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry to classify carbons for water purification• Researched metal and organic substance removal using different carbon media

- Developed expertise in the science of peach growing, harvesting and sales - Provide customer service at various farmers’ markets to enhance sales through answering questions and providing information about different fruit in season - Maintain organization of inventory and employees to maximize service efficiency

- Organized team of peers in creating a year-long engineering project in collaboration with the Biomechatronics Laboratory- Designed various mechanisms for prosthetic thumbs using SolidWorks and 3D printing - Presented project to faculty of the University of Colorado, Boulder, engineering students and a panel of expert judges at Corden Pharma science symposium
