· Monitor, analyze, and report performance on enterprise wide LAN/WAN/telecom infrastructure.· Maintain VMware VCenter Servers and provide VMware Administration support· Implement Barracuda Backup System to replace tape drive technology.· Ensures configurations of all network related devices meet company security requirements.· Provide support for project activities, while managing day-to-day base business responsibilities.· Provide helpdesk/desktop support where needed.

· Assists the IT Manager streamline the operation of the IT Department.· Provides and maintains technical and administrative support to all server resources and LAN/WAN technology.· Ensure that backup, recovery, and security procedures are performed as planned and necessary.· Monitor the utilization of network resources to detect errors and adjust accordingly, both preventative and reactive· Assist Help Desk Staff when necessary

· Provide on-site and remote support for software and hardware issues· Install new software and updates along with hardware upgrades as needed· Build and setup desktop and laptop computers for upgrades and new users· Maintain software and hardware database, including a yearly inventory· Software support includes; Microsoft Office 2003-2010, AutoCAD Suites, ESRI ArcGIS, and other engineering software· Upgrade all computers to Windows 7 operating system

· Primary duties are to perform remote server maintenance, as well as on-site server and workstation maintenance. Also assist home and business users with personal computer related issues via telephone, remote assistance software and on-site visitation, when needed. Clean and repair computers when they are brought in for shop service· Server/Workstation Maintenance – Verify system stability remotely and/or physically by checking system statistics CPU load, memory usage, hard disk capacity, etc. Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam software are updated accordingly as well as Microsoft system updates. Recommendations for software and hardware upgrades are given based on the customer’s needs.· Service Calls – Assist business and home users via the telephone, remote assistance software and on-site visits. Deal with issues ranging from PC setup, hardware/software installation, spyware/virus removal, printing issues, wireless networks, etc.· Shop Service – Analyze and repair PCs in a professional environment with additional diagnostic hardware and software. Replacement parts and protective software is readily available.
