As part of the Rapid Development Studio team, I am working on the design and development of sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms tailored to optimize diverse facets of Fortrea's operations, including clinical trial optimization, predictive analytics, and personalized healthcare solutions.

Unified the engineering teams (45+) developing data, machine learning, webapps and cloud solutions. • Worked with CPO and team to grow a new offering to $80M with new org design, strategy, architecture and KPI / data-driven processes. Coached team to improvements which led to more reliable software (10x) with decreased latency (3x) and new SDLC increasing velocity (30%).

Built and led global data engineering and data science teams (20+) building tools to deliver actionable insights to clients. Collaborated with technical teams to translate opportunities into product features.• Collaborated with VPs to launch AI / semantic search solution which significantly improved customer experience. Architected scalable vector APIs, structured databases to match queries with contextual matches in existing architecture as well as built stakeholder team, A/B test framework to improve accuracy, velocity and decision making.• Launched a 0-to-1 SaaS data product, transforming a $20M data business for the SVP Data. Collaborated on a product roadmap, usability studies and competitive analysis to deliver a data platform which powered self-service dashboards (Tableau), observable data pipelines (python), simplified data models (SQL) and improved data accuracy by automating processes.• Drove AI/ML adoption across the organization: Worked with platform teams to build MLOps infrastructure, improved data operations using inference models learn metadata and mentored hackathon leaders to build new products, processes and multiple POC (e.g. chatbots).

Partnered with sales and product executives to build new tools, processes and product ideas (AI, Salesforce).

Published original academic machine learning algorithms for NLP data (NeurIPS, KDD Cup).

In partnership with scientists at Exelixis, led development of machine learning models to extract information biomedical research which won honorable mention in that year’s KDD Cup.

Worked as part of a team that was awarded 7 US Patents in data analysis, social networking and knowledge management.

Developed new open source AI algorithms for computer security and was awarded a US Patent and Best Paper at USENIX-FREENIX.
