Developed and led MedicAlert’s Strategic Innovation Projects and Initiatives• External/Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Engaged stakeholders through various means to inform MedicAlert’s innovation strategic projects to reduce access barriers for responders and increase data portability for clients. • Ottawa 911 Integration: Connecting MedicAlert to Ottawa’s 911 Operations Centre, allowing 911 operators access to view and pass on vital medical information to responding units.• Digital QR ID Card: Designed and planned the launch of a Digital QR code Identification Card for clients to easily and securely share their health records with family, clinicians, and responders. • Charitable Program Intake Optimization: Redesigned the charitable program intake process to incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles through 13 social determinates of health and a regionally sensitive means test. Created a cost allocation model to more accurately quantify and report on the program’s costs and impact for donors.• Stale Client Re-engagement: Planned and executed a dormant client/donor reactivation campaign. The campaign surpassed the budgeted target by 400%, generating $500K in additional revenue.

Managed the Systems team and MedicAlert's high availability systems including the subscriber database containing 1.5M client records.- Project manager and requirements analyst for MedicAlert systems and corporate projects. Major projects included the design and launch of a GPS product, multiple website builds, and numerous core system builds, moves and upgrades. - Process improvement - I've led and initiated multiple efforts to improve MedicAlert's handling of client data these have included database restructuring, implementing indexes to standardize medical data entry and multiple cost-saving projects using data automation and web client feature enhancements.Additional Roles have included:- Director of Supply Chain (Product Manager for MedicAlert's line of ID products) - introduced 20+ new products - which have generated over $8M in sales since 2006. Built relationships with retailers such as Costco and Rexall to increase brand exposure - Chief Privacy Officer - Implemented MedicAlert's first privacy policy, and ensured ongoing organizational compliance with the legislation - Chief Compliance Officer/Risk Manager - Co-Author of MedicAlerts Risk Framework, and board liaison for corporate risk reporting.

Later to become WorldCom, then WorldCom MCI - Systems Director for Canada - focused on internal business systems and employee support. Ensured systems could keep up with rapid revenue growth from 10M/yr to 100M/yr in under five years. Installing enterprise-class sales, order entry, billing and trouble ticketing systems.

Designed, implemented and managed the technology, systems, people and processes required to automate the publication processes for Hansard (Senate Debates); and committee proceedings.When complete the automation of the publication process reduced operational expenses by $2.5M per year, this was a major saving for the Senate which had an annual budget of $50M.
