Multifamily development across the southeast US

Responsible for asset management and disposition of ground-up multifamily development assets across the southeastern US (2,500 units in lease-up/under construction and $1BN+ of completed dispositions). Underwriting, creation and execution of business plans, oversight of property management teams, hold/sell analysis and recommendations, oversight/execution of sale process.

Pacolet Milliken is a privately held investment company founded in 2007 by the shareholders of Milliken & Company. Pacolet’s Real Estate Division owns and manages a diversified portfolio of real estate investments that addresses the Company’s dual mandates of capital appreciation and growth in operating cashflow. I served as asset manager for a subset of the real estate portfolio, primarily multifamily and retail assets in the southeastern US from DC to Florida (budgeting, oversight of property management teams and brokers, lease negotiation), was involved various portfolio-wide initiatives (development of strategic planning model, portfolio/asset cash flow forecasts, annual valuations), and was part of $200MM+ of single asset and portfolio dispositions.

Terwilliger Pappas develops Class A multifamily communities in growing markets in the southeastern US (Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte, Charleston, Atlanta, and Nashville). I focused on financial modeling of multifamily and mixed-use development projects ($500MM+ pipeline), assisted with sourcing and closing project financing for $195MM of new development (JV equity, preferred equity/mezzanine, and construction loans), asset management, disposition of $110MM+ of completed projects, and corporate financial modeling.
