* Created company focused on developing Chatbot technology for advertisers on Facebook’s Messenger platform. Based on client feedback and demand, transitioned to a Facebook campaign management solution.

* Oversaw team of 40+ ad ops and engineering staff, responsible for all dimensions of online video ad products at the new company. Directly managed 10 engineers, supporting their professional growth. * Built a front-end self-service platform for video ad targeting, a back-end system for indexing video-level placement metadata and tracking performance, a billing and reporting system for invoicing and back-office integration.* Set product roadmap, met with agency clients to define and collect product requirements, presented insights and supported campaigns. * Generated $39M in online video ad revenue at 41% margin in the 24 months following acquisition.

* Founded online video advertising company specializing in placement-level video targeting for big brand advertisers, allowing online video buys like they were TV buys, and target new audiences based on the videos they like to watch.* Built and deployed custom tools for automating placement-level ad targeting and performance tracking on YouTube (via AdWords and AdX) and other video ad exchanges. Built tools based on Google Knowledge Graph to crawl video metadata and develop hyper-targeted placement lists for video ad campaigns. Personally handled all software development until acquisition.* Worked with sales staff to develop collateral for RFP responses and product marketing; met with clients to explain and pitch the technology, and collected their feedback to drive product roadmap. Delivered reporting, insights and analytics for campaigns we managed.* Initially managed a team of 3 Ad Ops staff to deliver online video ad campaigns using our technology to large agency / brand clients at OMD, Cadreon, MediaVest, GroupM, Vivaki, and others.

* Acquired by Conversant Media in 2014* Founded online video ad-tech company using computer vision techniques to deliver brand-safe, hyper-targeted online video ad campaigns across YouTube and other video platforms. Raised $10M+ in venture funding. Personally recruited and hired first 25+ employees, including engineering, sales, product, and support staff.* Developed product roadmap, navigating ambiguity of early brand spending in online video advertising. Researched market, working with agency customers to understand requirements to move budget from TV to online video. Built and marketed corresponding ad products to meet their needs.* Managed communication across all business levels, including investors, engineers, sales and ops staff, media partners (ie YouTube) and large brand / agency clients.
