Manage profitability for the company and owners interest for 325MW of utility-scale renewable energy wind and solar projects spread across six sites under contract in the MISO and ISO-NE energy markets. Verse project’s commercial, financial matters and budgets. Responsible for repowering and PPA extensions, negotiate new PPA’s and modifications, P&L, project company agreement compliance, regulatory compliance, partner, lender and other investor reporting.

Provided consultation for plant operations strategies on asset life cycle costs and O&M third-party service contracts to support clients with bankable solutions for their power plant projects. Additionally, engaged with Century West prior to joining First Solar, Inc. in 2010 and worked with international clients in Japan, London, and UAE as an advisor to the executive teams in charge of power project business development.

Built and led a global scalable business management and administration program for the company’s utility scale photovoltaic Energy Services business unit (BU). As a senior leadership team member served as a core contributor to the rapid growth of the BU from 10 to 300+ employees worldwide spanning North America, APAC, EMEA and LATAM regions that resulted in a 20x increase in revenue over five years to $100M annually with 30+ long-term service contracts covering 4 Gigawatts of installed capacity.

Promoted to increased levels of responsibility and ultimately reported to executive management. Recruited and built geographically diverse, customer-focused, multi-disciplinary, teams ranging from 10 to 20 employees that provided business development, analytical, decision support, lean sigma value chain process mapping and financial planning services to the commercial trading and power operations companies. Played an integral role in the fast-paced growth of the company to over 25GW, 75+ power plants developed nationwide ranging in size from 100MW to over 1,000MW spanning multiple turbine technologies. During a period of corporate turnaround reported directly to the Chief Administration Officer and led a diverse team of 20 employees that delivered operations performance reporting, commercial analytics to the trading organization, and asset lifecycle expense planning to governing parties in support of enterprise restructuring efforts. Prior to the company restructuring reported to the SVP in Fleet Operations recruited, built and led a diverse customer focused multi-disciplinary team of 10 employees that performed decision support services for the Power Company aimed at reducing asset lifecycle costs and optimizing the economic performance of its power plants.During a period of rapid-growth served as the company’s Subject Matter Expert on plant lifecycle cost for the gamut of General Electric and Siemens gas turbine technologies. Conducted acquisition due diligence; developed and maintained cost models used to finance business development projects, negotiate and structure multiple turbine maintenance, and power purchase agreements.

Performed a wide range of environmental compliance, ISO 9000 quality control auditing, and maintenance planning services for a portfolio of plants and clients. Prepared standard O&M procedures, processes and generally accepted practices that permeated corporate management ideology, and ensured alignment to the company’s O&M contractual obligations.
