As Head of TA&SM, I lead the IT Technical Architecture & Service Management business unit. Responsible for providing the technical architecture for the IT function.Responsible for managing the IT Infrastructure & Production services provided by other entities within BNP Paribas group as well as external suppliers. Responsible for representing the Infrastructure & Production Services to various customer groups inside BNP Paribas Investment Partners. Manage, together with my team, the budget, contracts, projects and service delivery for a variety of services, such as Networks & Telecom, Datacenter, Email, Server Management, Backup and End User Computing. Accountable for the program management of the integration of BNP Paribas Investments Partners onto one common global Workstation platform. Reporting to the Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Production.

As CTO Americas, lead the IT Infrastructure & Production business unit for the Americas. Responsible for the program & project management of the ICT integration of BNP Paribas Investments Partners in the Americas onto one common ICT platform. Responsible for the provision of ICT support to all end users in BNP Paribas Investment Partners North America and for all decentral ICT functions in the Americas.Responsible for the definition and implementation of the new Global End User Support Model.Responsible for IT Security within North America.Reporting to the Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Production.

Responsible for the provision of ICT support to all end users in BNP Paribas Investment Partners via a 24x7 servicedesk (outsourced to HP), for all decentral ICT functions in Europe (15 locations) and the coordination of the end user support function globally.Providing management & leadership to 4 regional support managers and the global servicedesk manager. Total team size is 50 FTE (excl outsourced services) and budget is EUR 25 mio/yr. Reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure & Production.

Responsible for the ICT integration of Fortis Investments and BNP Paribas Investments Partners in Europe (10 offices) onto one ICT platform and relocations of the branches into combined premises. Responsible for the ICT integration of BNP Paribas Investments Partners in North America (4 offices) onto one ICT platform and relocations of the branches into combined premises. Responsible for the definition and implementation of the new End User Support Model.Overseeing 5-10 project managers and >20 projects.

Responsible for the delivery of IT services for all global Asset Management IT systems (2000 users) and local IT systems in Amsterdam & Luxembourg (600 users). Managing the relationship with users, decision makers and vendors, as the majority of services were outsourced in a multi-vendor model.Also accountable for managing the infrastructure transformation program, market data management and global information security & technology risk management. Budget responsible (EUR 10 mio/yr) and managing approx. 10 FTE. Reporting to the CIO Asset Management.

Overall responsible for ICT for ABN AMRO Private Banking in The Netherlands. Main areas of attention were: strategy & policy, project management, ICT consultancy, support management, market data management, vendor management of outsourced services, budget management (EUR 15 mio/yr). Reporting to the Head Organisation PC NL and managing approx. 15 FTE.

Responsible for initiating and carrying out ICT policy and managing ICT projects for ABN AMRO Private Banking in The Netherlands. Focus was on developing, implementing and maintaining a consistent and efficient ICT environment that provides the required ICT tooling for the commercial staff of this new Business Unit.

Responsible for initiating and managing IT projects for ABN AMRO Investment Banking, in particular for the dealingroom frontoffice. During this period, managed seven (mostly infrastructural) implementation projects and carried out another seven feasibility studies, focused mainly on architecture, processes and organization.

Participated in ABN AMRO Bank’s corporate management trainee program. The program consists of 7 months of trainings, workshops and internships, combined with actual on-the-job experience
