Current• Computer Repair Technician, hardware and software.o Quite often this requires going to teacher classrooms and fixing the problem(s) they are experiencing. Walking into a teacher’s classroom full of students requires great customer services skills as we’re quite often in the spotlight when entering a classroom. We have to ensure that the teacher is up and running at all times and that the students educational experience is not interrupted. Many times, we use PDQ Inventory and remote control to fix the issue(s) which greatly reduces if not eliminates the interruptions to the flow of the classroom.• Responsible for managing help desk and keeping ticket system flowing smoothly.• Writing scripts for PDQ Deploy and Inventory to keep all staff and lab computers up-to-date.• Deploying software and computer updates silently via PDQ to keep devices up-to-date on all software.o Configuring deployments of packages such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, FireFox, Smart Notebook, • LanSchool, configuring and deploying it to over 275 teacher laptops.• ActionTec Screenbeam configuration, deployment and managing of over 300 Screenbeams district wide. • Google Admin Console for District Chromebook’s, entry level management of users, devices and apps.• Organizing schedule for summer upgrades and imaging all computers district wide, in total over 1000 computers; desktops and laptops.• Managing over 4500 Chromebook’s, deployments, rollbacks, inventory as to who they are assigned to.• Ensuring that all buildings have the correct number of Chromebook’s on a daily basis. Documenting damaged Chromebook’s for paid repairs.• Go to person for technology advice on purchase for the district.
