The portfolio consisted of 6 world-class data centres running 80% of BP’s critical business applications including trading, treasury and oil and gas process support. Ownership of all network service and NAS delivery and partnering with key Network and NAS vendors to provide leading edge, high availability solutions.

A new role, created as part of an IT restructure designed to support Williams Lea’s move into online services and increase revenue by £500 million over 5 years. Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Williams Lea’s IT solutions providing services to numerous clients such as the Prudential, Norwich Union, Microsoft, BMW and O2. Managed all aspects of the client facing and internal service management and operations. Recruited a new operations team and took management responsibility for the incumbent teams, executing management of change to build one harmonized delivery capability. Owned key stakeholder relationships with technical customer teams and key suppliers, implemented a formal performance management routine to demonstrate service quality and performance.
