M Harith Irfan, is a certified member of Board of Engineers Malaysia, VCAT-II, and currently working as a Diagnostic Engineer specifically in rotating machinery at BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd since 2024. Previously, he worked as a Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic Engineer niche in turbomachineries and rotating equipments for Sapura Baker Hughes since 2020 to 2023.He graduated as Mechanical Engineer majoring in Facilities Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). He has conducted his research in niche area of vibration behaviours and resonance frequency. Specifically, he had developed FEA model by using Catia V5 and ANSYS Workbench for acquiring natural frequency and mode shapes by Modal Analysis in order to analyse the vibrating behaviour on piping with different properties that later validated with analytical approach. For this, he had received Silver Award in 43rd Science and Design Exhibition (43rd SEDEX)Additionally, he had published two journal articles entitled Vibration Characteristics Study of Different Pipe Length With Different End Conditions for ARPN Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Natural Frequency Analysis of Pipe with Different Boundary Conditions Using Analytical and Finite Element Method for ICPER 2020 Proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Production, Energy and Reliability.He had done his industrial training internship at Malaysian refining Company Sdn Bhd (MRCSB) starting from Jan 19 to Aug 19. During his internship period, he is attached under Asset Integrity Management in Inspection Division (or formerly known as Material, Corrosion, and Inspection Department). As a focal point in handling project on Piping Vibration Assessment in MRCSB plantwide.
