- MITRE sponsored GMU capstone design project titled "Cloud DevSecOps" was led by Eddie Cisneros as the Subject Matter Expert for Cloud infrastructure and Sean Steinle as the SME for Machine Learning.-Participated in the Software Development Life Cycle of Cloud hosted threat analytics tool which leveraged Machine Learning models to analyze Network Intrusion data on a User-Friendly dashboard integrated through Kibana and Elastic Search- Developed tool using CI/CD pipeline via Gitlab to provide Azure Cloud hosted threat hunting tool. Environment deployment was done using Terraform. Network of Docker containers with Elastic Search, Kibana Dashboarding, and VM RDP access. The Main Supervised ML model was built with Python, SKLearn library, and integrated with Kibana. - Lead main Supervised Machine Learning algorithm development through 2-week AGILE sprints to produce an efficient threat detection model with high accuracy for the detection of malicious network activity. Presented and Demoed at the SAGE competition along with an IEEE Research/Development paper.

Performed the following tasks using Azure Sentinel (SIEM):- Used custom PowerShell script to extract metadata from Windows Event Viewer to be forwarded to third-party API in order to derive geolocation data- Configured log Analytica Workspace in Azure to ingest custom logs containing geographical information- Configured Custom Fields in Log Analytics Workspace to map geo data in Azure Sentinel- Geolocated known attack locations and IP addresses/RDP access attempts on numerous virtual devices.
