I was born in Vietnam, took my first steps in a Philippine refugee camp, and grew up in the United States—experiences that taught me the value of family, genuine friendships, and building community.My career journey has unfolded in two chapters: from investment banking to entrepreneurship, in both investor and founder roles. Along the way, I’ve learned the power of discipline, humility, and building stellar teams that, in turn, create transformative solutions.Today, I’m honored to be working with the U.S. government to foster collaboration across public and private partners to fuel Africa’s economic growth through digital innovation and entrepreneurship. I’m convinced that entrepreneurship drives development, so I focus on creating inclusive programs that empower innovators of all backgrounds.
