➢ Designing and implementing the Protection Philosophy of Lines and Transformers of voltage levels up to 400kV, calculating the setting values and configuring the relays according to the design philosophy and relay coordination.➢Testing and Commissioning of equipment in new Substations or plants , apart from the commissioning of Protection and Metering equipment in the existing Substations and plants viz., DC and AC Motor ,CT, PT, motor operating valves(MOV) , Power Transformers ,earth resistance testing, surge arresters etc.➢Capable of conduct and analyze the testing of CRM, TAN DELTA,SFRA ,Ratio, insulationResistance, etc. Generator, transformer and motor stability test.➢Yearly routine tests, Commissioning and Re-commissioning tests of all the relays including Distance,Differential, REF, Over current, Earth fault, Bus bar, LBB, , Over voltage, Under voltage, Over frequency,Under frequency, Over fluxing etc. The relays include Electromechanical, Static, Digital, Numerical typesrelays. Experienced in handling the relays made by SEL (SEL-787,311c, 311L, 710,751A, 351A, 387A, BCUrelays etc.), ABB (REL AND REC, REF, RET series), Siemens (Siprotec 4 relays) MICOM (P543, P645, P922,etc.)and GE (F650, L60, L90, T60) relays.➢Experience in handling IED software’s like, PCM,DIGSI,SFT(SEPAM),AGILE(for Schneider and micom),AcSELerator and Enervista (GE).Having knowledge in GOOSE and IEC 61850/PROCESS BUS configuration in advanced relays.➢The test systems used are OMICRON CMC 356 and its series, OMICRON CPC100,SFRA45, M4100TANDELTA,ISA KITS SVERKER 760 and All Power Equipment Testing Kits.➢Analyzing operation of Protective Relays and Switchgears. Investigating abnormal incidents. Down loading Disturbance Recorder and Event Recorder reports for detailed analysis of the event and preparation of comprehensive reports on system abnormalities.

Worked in 2.5 MW Small Hydel Power Project, Malampuzha, Palakkad as Plant Operator for the season 2016 – 2017, in charge taken on day and night. Duties performed are: Controlled and Monitored AVR to maintain output voltage, Controlled Generator and grid synchronization of 11 kV, controlling of all substation equipment and Operated Overhead Crane (15 Ton) to move heavy items within the plant.

Working as field engineer in relay sub Divisional office Palakkad Kerala since December 2016. Duties performed are: testing and commissioning of all relay support equipment using Megar manufacture machine. Testing machines are CT, PT, transformer bushing CT and temperature CT on transformer and neutral CT. Actions performed on relays of Overcurrent, earth fault, etc. Handled relays made by all major MNC’s and also handled panel board wiring.
