It is not all about the products I make, the services I create or improve, or the career that I try to progress, but it is mainly about the positive impact that I leave on the lives of others I work with and work for directly or indirectly. In my years working at KLA-Tencor, I progressed from a systems design engineer to Sr. Director of product support, which gave me chances to learn and master progressively more complex abilities to develop and manage technologies, processes, and leadership skills. Through the years, I led product design projects, took products from ideas through execution to fruition, listened to customers and solved their problems, managed products through KT's product life cycles, managed engineering teams and product support teams including most recent assignment where I led a team of directly reporting 40 engineers providing technical support and new product introduction support of a wide array of products (laser scanning and SWIFT products groups). I managed performance successfully and added strong talent to the team, established a team from scratch in Asia, which numbers now over 12 engineers, and successfully led virtual team working out of 6 countries and 10 locations. I have a particular focus on leading by example, creating and motivating teams, achieving quick but long lasting results, understanding customer needs while effectively managing cost.
