I have always been fascinated with commercial real estate since I was a child. My father served in various executive level positions serving as Director or SVP of Real Estate for nationally recognized companies and I was always ear to the door and tagging along on site visits and eager to learn more about the industry.In 2006, I enlisted in the US Navy as an Aviation Structural Mechanic. My first command was the VFA-15 Valions. As a proud member of the Valion Pride, I completed 2 combat deployments on the USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2008-2009, and the USS George HW Bush in 2011.After completing a 5 year sea duty tour, I continued onto Special Shore Duty at Navy Recruiting District Miami, where my love and passion for real estate reignited. Here I became close friends with many real estate brokers and became passionate about learning more about the industry. The Navy then called again, as I was selected for the Elite Maintenance Team of the US Navy Blue Angels. As a Blue Angel, I learned how to perform under pressure in ways I never dreamed of before. My tenacity for completing the mission and working as a team with fellow Sailors and Marines has shaped me into the leader I am today. In 2018, I was selected to Chief Petty Officer, and was pinned and accepted into The Mess on September 18, 2018. I have continued to excel in leadership, completing two back to back deployments with the VFA-105 Gunslingers aboard the USS Eisenhower. During my time with VFA-105, I was responsible for day to day management of over $2B in assets including aircraft, parts, and equipment, as well as over 150 personnel.Due to the success of my team, I was promoted in May 2022 to Senior Chief. I currently serve as the Senior Enlisted Advisor at Fleet Readiness Center Patuxent River, MD. As I start to see the sunset on my Naval career, and my passion for real estate being as strong as ever, I founded Valion Capital LLC.The mission of Valion Capital is bring veterans into the high level real estate space and, using our revenues from that success, invest in other Veteran Start-Ups. It is my firm belief that veterans can do just about anything. The greatest people I know are those I have served with and I see time and time again how malleable all service members are even after their service. They are not defined by their military job. Rather, the skills and tenacity to find a way to make things happen, think outside the box, and have an amazing teamwork mentality are inherent in all veterans and that allows them to learn new jobs quickly and perform at amazing levels.
