CurrentNovember 2011 - present: Hancock Bank acquired Whitney National Bank. Returned to z/OS and CICS as primary responsibilities. Resolved a vendor application programming error that had caused episodic CICS production outages for the previous 6 years. Performed capacity analysis, planning, implementation, and post-production support of CICS during systems merger that resulted in a doubling of CICS production workload. Designed, installed, configured, and maintained Websphere Enterprise Service Bus architecture on Windows servers. Other products installed, maintained, and supported as the primary systems programmer include: CA Common Services, CA-1 (TMS), Endevor, Easytrieve, DFSORT, z/UNIX, VTAM, Telnet, Verastream Bridge to CICS, Mackinney Batch to CICS, Mackinney VTAM/Switch, IBM Debug Tool, IBM Fault Analyzer.July 2009 - November 2011: While still supporting the mainframe as needed, engaged in the initial design, installation, and implementation of a new Power6 system, running i5/OS v6.1 and SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11. Primarily responsible for system design, installation, configuration, and ongoing support for Websphere Process Server, Websphere Service Registry and Repository, Websphere Enterprise Service Bus, Websphere Application Server,Websphere Partner Gateway, and DB2 Enterprise Server environments on Linux. Set up databases on DB2-LUW and DB2 on i5/OS. Performed initial setup and troubleshooting for Websphere Datapower XI50 devices.Prior to July, 2009: Mainframe specialist with primary responsibility for CICS and related software support. Additional primary responsibilities include software from ISV vendors CA (Common Services, TLMS, Easytrieve, Examine), Compuware (Xpediter/TSO and CICS, Abendaid and Abendaid/CICS, Fileaid/MVS, QA Hiperstation), Syncsort, MacKinney, and Attachmate. Support for other mainframe functions, including MVS, TCP/IP, RACF, TSO, etc., in a backup and oncall role.
