* Led PG&E’s electric transmission and generator interconnection policy, regulatory strategy and relationships with the California ISO and FERC.* Developed and built internal alignment around PG&E’s first company-wide energy storage strategy as a response to California legislation (AB2514). * Issues include the annual transmission planning process, interconnection process enhancements (including Fast Track and Independent Study process reform), demand response and energy efficiency roadmap, transmission outage management, blackstart and system restoration planning, energy storage, transmission and distribution tariff reform, business practice manual reform, FERC Order 1000, FERC Small Generator Interconnection Processes NOPR, and a variety of other electric transmission and distribution issues.* Coordinated cross functional team engagement on stakeholder initiatives, ISO board engagement, and FERC filings, including Energy Procurement, Transmission Planning, Grid Operations, Electric Generation Interconnection, Legal, ISO Settlements, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Energy Solutions.* Educated operational units on ISO processes and issues, including advising the renewables transaction team on changing generator interconnection procedures, and advising transmission planning and transmission project development teams on the changing competitive landscape due to FERC Order 1000.* Worked with key external stakeholders who participate in CAISO stakeholder processes and its markets (IOUs and municipal utilities, consumer groups, independent power producers, municipal utility representatives, State of California representatives and others involved in CAISO Governing Board matters).
