Responsibilities include:- Coaching teachers within a job embedded professional development process at the school and district level- Establish and communicate clear objectives of the project to teachers and administrators- Work collaboratively with fellow consultants, teachers, administrators and students- Prepare and execute model lessons- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources to teachers in various projects- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet teachers' varying needs- Observe teachers while in the act of teaching- Provide appropriate feedback to teachers related to the project (written and verbal)- Encourage and monitor the progress of teachers in projects- Maintain accurate and complete records of teachers being coached- Create resources for teachers when needs arise- Participate in events, training and development work- Use relevant technology to support projects- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of education - Maintain awareness of opportunities for new business- Grow the reach of Job embedded services in schools and school systems

Presenter in the areas of higher order thinking strategies for teachers in both general education and gifted education. Responsibilities include: - Providing educators with researched based pedagogy and innovative ways in which to deliver subject matter. All methods incorporate higher levels of thinking strategies aimed to facilitate a deeper understanding of content. - Ensuring that the operations of the Summer Institute for Educators runs smoothly and efficiently. - Working directly with the institute director, the Duke TIP office, and the host venue regarding components of the Summer Institute for Educators such as; housing/dining, staff training, materials preparation, attendee activities/schedules, and logistical coordination between the venue site and faculty.

Responsible for the development of the business and government curriculum for the 2012 Duke TIP CRISIS Program. The CRISIS program consists of a week long problem-based learning opportunity for students interested in the Duke Talent Identification Program.
