• Project: Biomimetic Activation of Dioxygen by First-Row Transition Metal Complexes• Utilized Schlenk and glovebox techniques for organic and inorganic synthesis.• Synthesized cobalt and iron (II) complexes supported by tripodal ligands; studied resulting products’ reactivity with dioxygen.• Characterized products using 1H NMR, UV-vis and IR spectroscopy as well as X-ray crystallography.

• Project: Single-molecule nanomanipulation using optical tweezers and thermal melting• Examined effects of U⋅U‐to‐U⋅C pair mutation on hairpin folding in human RNA telomerase.• Conducted thermal melting of hairpin RNA using UV-vis spectrometer.

• Managed a spreadsheet that oversees the progress of the machine parts and ensured the parts are shipped out within the target timeframe to the overseas clients.• Processed around 100 purchase order forms daily for machine parts from clients encompassing Australia and New Zealand.
