- Lead and manage Cohu MY GTS Software Engineering department, in line with the company objectives- To collaborate with DE software engineering on product transfer from DE.- Ensure knowledge development of software engineers to improve the team’s efficiency.- Manage, sustain and ensuring compliance of transferred product engineering process.

Organizational Tasks:- Planning and controlling of the software design.- Ensures communication within the team, and to other internal and external organizational bodies.- Act as an interface between product marketing and engineering.Operational Tasks:- Create functional software specification- Responsible for software architect design and software concept creation- Technical guidance for all transferred products.- Clarification for special customer projects – feasibility studies, effort, costs, specifications and milestones.- Lead time-limited projects with emphasis in Task-based developmento Central coordinator and responsible person for all software issues of the projecto Technical lead and coaching for team memberso Software concepts, architectures and specifications- Software development for special projects- Planning capacities in responsible areas.

- Planning and controlling of the personnel capacities. Assign tasks and projects to the members of the team.- Technical leader of the team members.- Provide technical guidance for the team member.- Clarification for special customer projects - technical possibilities, effort, costs, specifications and setting milestones.- Lead projects with heavy software emphasis.- Develop software (design, implementation, integration and hands-on test) for Pick&Place handlers. - Maintain software together with the members of the team.

- Design and maintain of software for Pick&Place Handlers- Communicate with counterparts in Germany for technical questions- Apply modifications, integrate into existing real time software and perform testing on module and system level- Develop new features based on specification and integrate it into existing software
