After completing my Supply Chain Management Internship, I was asked to continue work with the organization as the Warehouse Manager. In this capacity, I was charged with training a new lineup of summer interns. In addition, I was able to migrate into more "big picture" type duties, such as improving warehouse organization, using data analysis to overhaul the handling process for perishable medical supplies, and implementing critical error-proofing systems for an all-volunteer workforce.

STAT 3331: Statistical Analysis for Business Applications is often a bottleneck course for aspiring business students. Because of my success in the course and a desire to share knowledge, it seemed like a perfect fit for me to serve as an Academic Support Assistant in the college's tutoring center. While the job was mentally taxing and stressful at times, it was incumbent that I was a calm and encouraging influence for the students who came for help.
