About Miranda Holback

I am an integrity driven professional engineer, educator, and researcher. In order to ultimately improve the lives of individuals and society as a whole, I love building, implementing, and assessing relationships and dynamic models to meet the needs of local and global communities. While I covet time to dig deep on my own, I thrive working with a team by collaborating with experts, engaging with partners and constructing relevant community connections. Twenty five years of engineering, and leading in diverse construction and educational organizations (AIANN, TTEA, WCSD, TTUSD, UNR, UCLA, WACCS, NCL). As a part-time faculty member and program leader at TMCC, I take time to enrich our local education system by providing meaningful mentorships for young adults and sharing the experience and utilization of intentional building design as well as career optimization and opportunity. Supporting various non-profits (200+ hours/year) through effort and creativity is the best way to increase my energy and elevate those who need it most. Thirty thousand hours of professional engineering, problem solving, and project management created a vision of life-based learning and resiliency.
