About Mike Holland

Mike is an operations, product development and business transformational leader with greater than 30 years experience in automotive, manufacturing, healthcare and aerospace.Mike spent 2 years in Japan with Nippon Seiki Co. Ltd. under the mentorship of a Japanese Lean Master while studying automotive component design and lean manufacturing techniques. He spent two additional years leading the move of production lines and product design capability from Japan to the United States.He joined Eaton Corporation as an applications and development engineer where he primarily served Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan and Isuzu Motors of Japan. Other roles within Eaton included Six Sigma Blackbelt, project manager and production manager of a manufacturing plant start-up.Mike went to Danaher Corporation as a manufacturing engineering manager and also held various manufacturing leadership roles including Lean Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Quality and Vice President of Operations.He joined OhioHealth as the System Director of Operational Planning and Process Excellence for the 8 hospital system where he lead the implementation of Strategy Deployment (or Hoshin Planning) as their operational planning model and correspondingly adopted a rapid process improvement culture (both kaizen and kaikaku).Mike then spent 8 years in consulting as Vice President of the Healthcare Practice at NEXT LEVEL Partners, LLC leading lean-based transformation in healthcare with 50+ organizations before returning back to OhioHealth in system executive roles for both lean and supply chain.
